Jain Global, Bullish on ECM, Bulks Up Business With New Co-Head

Bobby Jain’s hedge fund hired Brandon Levinto co-lead equity capital markets ahead of expectations of a bumper year for initial public offerings.

ECM is part of the firm’s Fundamental Equities team and will tap capital from that unit’s primary strategies portfolio, as well as its “CIO book,” which scales up certain investments, according to a person familiar with the matter.
