HSBC Promotes Connor, Deghaili to Senior Mideast Banking Roles

HSBC Holdings Plc has named Jon Connor and Samer Deghaili as co-heads of capital financing and investment banking coverage for the wider Middle East region as the lender continues to beef up its presence in high-growth markets.

Connor and Deghaili will work closely with coverage colleagues and continue their current roles as head of advisory and investment banking coverage, and head of capital markets for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, respectively, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg and confirmed by a spokesperson.
