HSBC Names Amlani to Head Equity-Linked Deals in Americas, EMEA

HSBC Holdings Plc banker Ilyas Amlani is expanding his remit to oversee the firm’s equity-linked business in the Americas.

Amlani has been at HSBC since 2013 and was promoted to head of equity-linked for Europe, Middle East and Africa in 2019, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg News. He will relocate to New York later this month for his new role as head of equity-linked for the Americas and EMEA.
