Hot Korea Listing Makes Paik One of World’s Richest Chefs (2)

A South Korean celebrity has joined the ranks of the world’s richest chefs after his restaurant franchise surged 51% on the first trading day, valuing his stake in the company at about $324 million.

Dubbed South Korea’s Gordon Ramsay, Paik Jong-won recently featured in Netflix’s Culinary Class Wars show that topped the streaming company’s global weekly TV chart for non-English titles.
