Hedge Fund Burkehill Hires Ex-Rokos Partner Brosnan in Hong Kong

Burkehill Global Management LP has hired former Rokos Capital Management investment officer Damien Brosnan to help expand to Hong Kong, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.

Brosnan is set to join the New York-based firm as a managing director after his non-compete agreement with Rokos ends in March, said the person, asking not to be identified discussing private information. He will lead Burkehill’s efforts to open a Hong Kong office in the first half.

Brosnan declined to comment, as did a representative of Burkehill.
