Goldman Names Takanabe as Japan Investment Banking Co-Head (1)

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. said Teppei Takanabe will become its co-head of investment banking in Japan, as the Wall Street bank pushes to grow in the Asian nation.

He will work with the other co-head of investment banking Yoshihiko Yano to “strengthen and grow our business in Japan,” according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg News and confirmed by a spokesperson.
