Firm Behind Philippines’ Gas Field Sees Drilling Result in Weeks

The company behind the Philippines’ push to prolong the life of its only natural gas field expects the result of the drilling of a new well within weeks, according to its chief executive officer.

Prime Infrastructure Capital Inc., owned by Philippine ports-to-casino billionaire Enrique Razon, is investing around $900 million to drill three new wells in the Malampaya gas field that faces the South China Sea.
