Europe’s Top Drone Maker Eyes Warsaw IPO as EU Funding Surges

WB Electronics SA is considering selling shares on the Warsaw bourse, as the largest drone producer by sales in the European Union prepares to scale up investments under the bloc’s new defense program.

WB, which has been developing autonomous technologies since 2007, is counting on funds from the EU’s SAFE loan fund program to boost its output, as the war in Ukraine increases global demand for such weapons. The company’s decision about a potential Warsaw debut depend on how the EU money is allocated, said founder and Chief Executive Officer Piotr Wojciechowski.
