The international body that sets rules for corporate environmental, social, and governance disclosures is significantly expanding the group of countries it works with to ensure companies report on sustainability issues similarly across the globe.
The International Sustainability Standards Board said Thursday it was broadening the number of places that are part of its Jurisdictional Working Group from six to nearly 40, and renaming the body the Jurisdictional Adopters Working Group. The group helps ensure that national reporting standards are compatible with international rules.
