Discount Chain Eco-Shop Seeks $97 Million in Malaysia IPO

Malaysian discount retail chain Eco-Shop Marketing Sdn Bhd plans to raise 419 million ringgit ($96.7 million) in what will be Malaysia’s biggest market debut in eight months.

Eco-Shop will look to sell 347 million shares at 1.21 ringgit apiece in a public listing, valuing the company at 7 billion ringgit, according to a prospectus released on Tuesday. The company plans to raise an additional 623 million ringgit via a share sale to institutional investors.
