Deutsche Bank Hires Citi’s Former Japan Markets Head Kishie

Deutsche Bank AG has hired former Citigroup Inc. executive Tokiya Kishie, bolstering its ranks in Japan as global lenders ramp up competition for top talent in the country, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Kishie joined the German lender recently in a senior role, according to the person who asked not to be named because the information is private. The structured products veteran with about two decades of international financial experience was previously Citigroup’s head of markets in Japan.

Deutsche Bank’s representatives weren’t immediately available to comment. Kishie didn’t respond to a request for comment.
