Delivery Startup Gopuff Value Drops to $8.5 Billion in New Deal

Rapid-delivery startup Gopuff has raised $250 million at a valuation of $8.5 billion, according to a person familiar with the matter — a significant markdown from its value in a 2021 funding round, as the company seeks to grow its services and sustain its financial health.

The round was led by Eldridge Industries LLC and Valor Equity Partners, the company said in a statement on Thursday. Baillie Gifford & Co. also participated, along with Israeli investor Yakir Gabay and George Ruan, the co-founder of coupon app Honey, and Gopuff’s co-founders, Yakir Gola and Rafael Ilishayev.
