Citigroup Names Raman New Co-Head of Asia ECM as Furtado Exits

Citigroup Inc. appointed Harish Raman to head its equity capital markets business for Asia Pacific, replacing Udhay Furtado who will leave after more than six years with the firm in Hong Kong.

Raman, who’s been at Citigroup since 2011, will see his role expanded to include ECM execution, origination and solutions for Asia North, Australia and Asia South, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg News. A spokesperson for the bank confirmed its contents.
