Citi Hires BofA’s Spencer as Tech Investment Banking Vice Chair

Citigroup Inc. has hired Bank of America Corp.’s Ric Spencer as vice chair of technology investment banking, further beefing up its coverage of the sector.

Spencer will join Citi on Wednesday and be based in San Francisco, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg News. A Citi representative confirmed the contents of the memo. Spencer will report to Mark Keene, head of technology investment banking, and work closely with Liz Milonopoulos on global internet deals.
