Citadel Securities hired Joseph Anastasio from Citigroup Inc.and Samuel French from Bank of America Corp. to lead sales for large equity block trades made for institutional clients.
Ken Griffin’s market-making firm hired Anastasio and French as co-heads to lead sales of high-touch equities, according to a person with knowledge of the matter. They’ll start early next year and report to Elan Luger, head of high-touch equities trading, one of the people said, asking not to be identified discussing a private matter.
