Brazil’s Energisa May Increase Share Offer to 2.5 Billion Reais

Brazil’s Energisa SA said its planned share offering may be increased by 25% to 2.5 billion reais ($507 million) and will involve both preferred and common stock.

The energy company will offer about 78 million common and 122 million preferred shares at an indicative prices of 10 reais apiece, for a total of 2 billion reais, according to a company filing released on Friday. It said it may increase the offer by 500 million reais via the issuance of additional common and preferred stock.
