A strong week on Wall Street is ending on a quiet note, with stocks holding near all-time highs and bonds edging lower ahead of a reading on consumer sentiment.

Following a string of data that only reinforced the view the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates next week, traders will keep a close eye on data that will show the degree of confidence from the main engine of the world’s largest economy.
