AllianceBernstein Taps Ex-Preston Hollow Staff for New Muni Team

AllianceBernstein Holding LP has hired four former bankers from municipal finance lender Preston Hollow Community Capital for a new special situations group.

The Nashville, Tennessee-based firm, with $86 billion of munis under management as of the third quarter of 2025, hired Preston Hollow’s former co-heads of originations Ramiro Albarran and John Dinan as well as bankers Chad Ohlendorf and Madeleine Rehfeld, according to a Thursday press release. At AllianceBernstein, the four will work as credit analysts, partnering with the firm’s portfolio managers, traders and analysts to identify investments in the high-yield muni market.
