Bar Exam Tasks May Get Judge Review
California law students could be reading judge-approved questions when they take a future state bar exam, Maia Spoto reports.
California Supreme Court justices added Thursday active and retired state judges and justices to the list of acceptable occupations for panelists vetting whether the test’s questions assess applicants’ competence in the law. Law school faculty and certain attorneys can also serve on the panels under the new administrative order. Another set of panelists will check the questions for legal accuracy.
