Federal agents prevented a plot by a radical pro-Palestinian, anti-government group to bomb several Southern California locations on New Year’s Eve, US Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Monday.
The Turtle Island Liberation Front planned to plant and detonate at midnight at least five backpack bombs in Orange and Los Angeles counties “logistics centers,” US officials alleged. They were also targeting immigration agents and vehicles, officials said.
