A top Senate Republican is launching an inquiry into Meta, Amazon, x.AI, and five other major tech companies over concerns with their reporting on suspected cases of online child sexual exploitation, Oma Seddiq reports.

Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley sent letters to the companies — which also included TikTok, Snap, Discord, Roblox, and Grindr — asking for more information about their efforts to improve reporting on child exploitation.
