Sutter, Plaintiffs Agree to $228.5 Million Antitrust Settlement
Sutter Health will pay $228.5 million to resolve claims it forced insurers into contracts with anticompetitive terms, Katie Arcieri reports.
The proposed deal and the plaintiffs’ request for preliminary approval of its terms were filed Friday in the US District Court for the Northern District. The filing unveils the monetary damages in an agreement inked with Sutter on the eve of a planned trial last month. All claims against Sutter will be released as part of the settlement
