What’s in a name? The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit will consider that question Monday for “San Francisco.”
Oakland will ask the appeals panel to allow it to use “San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport” as its rebranded name for its facility. They’ll argue a lower court inappropriately temporarily blocked the East Bay city and its port from using that name.
