DOJ Bid for Voter Rolls Gets Appeals Test

The Trump administration will try to convince two federal appeals courts to let it access states’ unredacted voter rolls after striking out repeatedly in lower courts, Eric Heisig reports.
A Sixth Circuit panel will hold arguments Wednesday for a case involving Michigan, while Ninth Circuit judges are set to weigh California’s and Oregon’s refusal to turn over its rolls on May 19.
