I can’t say there’s been a smoking-gun document, text message, or legal contract presented so far in the trial of Musk v. Altman. Instead, the last two weeks of testimony have cast the case as a battle over character and credibility. Should we trust Elon Musk or Sam Altman to tell the history of OpenAI, the scrappy nonprofit turned trillion-dollar behemoth?
