Live Nation Deal Sparks State Pushback
A last-minute settlement between the Justice Department and Live Nation abruptly halted a high-profile antitrust trial that had been expected to feature testimony from CEO Michael Rapino.
Instead of taking the stand in New York, Rapino traveled to Washington to sign an agreement with the government aimed at resolving the case over the company’s dominance in live entertainment and ticketing through its subsidiary Ticketmaster, Josh Sisco and Leah Nylen report.
