Lawyers in Workday AI Bias Suit Defend Delays, Seek Co-Counsel

The attorneys suing Workday Inc. on claims of widespread AI hiring bias disputed a judge’s accusations of unreasonable delays and said they’re in talks with other law firms that could join the case as co-counsel.

The AARP Foundation and other lawyers are in “serious discussions” about joining as additional counsel for the group of plaintiffs led by Derek Mobley, according to a Jan. 21 brief filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
