Since our nation’s founding, our leaders have addressed the importance of infrastructure. With regular reports of our nation’s “crumbling infrastructure” and the low grades from the American Society of Civil Engineers, President Trump spoke on the issue from the Oval Office in December of 2017, saying “infrastructure is by far the easiest” and “we’ll have that done pretty quickly.” However, “Infrastructure Week” is now a running joke and the White House and Congress appear to be no further along on legislation.
