FCC to Start Mulling Federal AI Standards, Carr Says

The Federal Communications Commission will initiate proceedings to decide on whether to adopt a federal reporting and disclosure standard for AI models that would preempt conflicting state-level regulations, FCC Chair Brendan Carr says.
