The Houston bankruptcy judge who resigned after failing to disclose a romance with a lawyer moved to dismiss a lawsuit that accused him of violating a shareholder’s civil rights.
David R. Jones argued in court papers filed Dec. 28 that he’s entitled to judicial immunity because the actions at issue in the lawsuit were taken as part of his official duties as a judge.
