Disney Names Mazloum Chair of Parks Unit, Succeeding New CEO (1)

Walt Disney Co. is promoting Thomas Mazloum to chairman of the company’s parks, cruises and consumer products division, reshuffling the senior leadership of its most profitable unit.

Mazloum, 59, will succeed Josh D’Amaro, the media and entertainment company said in a statement Tuesday, confirming an earlier Bloomberg report. He’s being named to the role as D’Amaro is set to replace Bob Iger as chief executive officer at Disney’s annual meeting on March 18.
