California Bar Faces Its Next Exam Choice

The California State Bar’s announcement that its February exam had a 30.8% pass rate was a reminder that, for now, it’s back to business as usual after last year’s exam catastrophe.

Nearly 4,000 people completed the February test, which is typically weighted toward repeat takers. Repeat test takers made up 63% of this year’s pool; usually, they account for roughly 70%. (Kim Kardashian’s name still doesn’t appear on the pass list. She said in July that she didn’t pass that exam.)
