Sacramento Considers Last-Chance Bills
Sacramento lawmakers have just a few more days to save any bills introduced last year that they want a chance to pass in 2026.
The legislature must pass the old legislation on issues from taxes to AI out of at least one chamber by Thursday. One bill senators chose to save yesterday? SB 300, which will require AI chatbot developers to help stop children from accessing sexually explicit material through their platforms.
