Amazon Defeats Prime Subscribers’ Suit Over Covid-19 Deliveries

A proposed class of Amazon.com Inc. Prime subscribers failed to revive its lawsuit against the company over pausing “rapid delivery” during the height of Covid-19.

The subscribers asked the court “to ignore the plain meaning of the contract they agreed to, forget the worldwide effect of the Covid-19 pandemic, and reverse the district court’s dismissal. We decline their request,” Judge Elizabeth L. Branch said in the opinion.
