Yelp Sales Workers Get PAGA Labor Deal Approved in California

A San Francisco state judge approved a $600,000 settlement Thursday of a former Yelp Inc. sales professional’s wage and hour claims she brought on behalf of the state under California’s Private Attorneys’ General Act.

Elizabeth Bland sued the recommendation platform in January 2020 in San Francisco Superior Court, alleging she wasn’t paid for all hours worked and that the company failed to provide meal periods and rest breaks and to pay minimum wage, among other things.
