World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. investors suing the organization for allegedly misleading them about problems with its business ties to Saudi Arabia want a federal judge in New York to give them permission to move forward as a class.
The case against the professional wrestling group is “well-suited for class treatment,” the investors say in their filing in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. WWE allegedly concealed the deterioration of its business relationship with the government of Saudi Arabia, and Judge Jed S. Rakoff rejected a bid to dismiss the suit in August.
