Automattic Inc., the privately held owner of online publishing and software service WordPress.com, has added Andrew Missan to a revamped in-house legal team amid its ongoing battle with a private equity-backed competitor.
Missan joined Automattic as chief legal officer last month, according to his LinkedIn profile. He most recently was the top lawyer for electric aircraft startup Archer Aviation Inc. Prior to that he was general counsel for wearable technology maker
