Winston Taylor launched Monday as a newly-combined transatlantic law firm with more than 1,400 lawyers and $1.75 billion in revenue.
Winston & Strawn and the UK’s Taylor Wessing completed their combination after partners at the firms approved it in January. Steven D’Amore, who has led Winston & Strawn since 2024, is staying on as chairman of the combined firm.
“Everything starts with our clients,” D’Amore said in an interview. “The thesis for this combination was to be able to serve our clients better by providing a global solution to global problems and it starts there.”
