Winston & Strawn Hires Banee Pachuca as Transactions Partner

Banee Pachuca joined Winston & Strawn as a member of its transactions department in Houston, the firm announced Monday.

Pachuca represents private equity and financial investors in health-care transactions, as well as hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and large physician groups in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other collaborative and alignment strategies, the firm said.

She advises health-care clients with respect to fraud and abuse laws, including the Stark Law and state and federal anti-kickback laws, billing compliance, as well as state and federal privacy laws, the firm said.
