Wilson Sonsini Recruits M&A Partner Kohli in New York From Weil

Sachin Kohli joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as a partner in its mergers and acquisitions practice in New York, the firm announced Wednesday.

Kohli advises public and private companies, as well as private equity sponsors, on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate matters. His cross-sector experience spans life sciences, healthcare, technology, energy, gaming, consumer, and industrials, and he combines transactional execution with strategic counsel on governance, disclosure, shareholder activism, and defensive preparedness, the firm said.

He joins from Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
