The Democratic National Committee has turned to former Solicitor General Seth Waxman for a new Pennsylvania election law fight.
The DNC on Friday sought to intervene in a Pennsylvania lawsuit by the Republican National Committee, which wants the state’s highest court to bar election officials from counting undated and misdated ballots. Waxman, a WilmerHale partner who was solicitor general in the Clinton administration, and a group of Pittsburgh lawyers from Dentons are representing the DNC.
