WilmerHale, Orrick Recruit Life Sciences Lawyers in Boston

Hiring in Big Law has slowed down to some degree since the coronavirus pandemic hit the U.S., but in the life sciences sector, the action continues. Both Orrick and WilmerHale announced new Boston recruits in the space.

Out of the House: Orrick tapped the law department of Velocity Sciences, a biotech startup, to hire a new partner, Shana Solomon. Solomon, who served as the general counsel at Velocity, says she wants to help make Orrick a go-to firm for licensing transactions in the life sciences space, Ruiqi Chen reports.
