Willkie Farr & Gallagher advised Houston-based private equity firm Esperanza Capital Partners on the launch of its investment platform aimed at acquiring energy and infrastructure assets in the Gulf of Mexico.
Cockrell Interests LLC, a 70-year-old Houston-based, family owned investment firm, is joining Esperanza Capital in launching the fund. Vinson & Elkins advised Cockrell, according to a statement that included no financial details.
