Benoit Champon joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher as a partner in its asset management department in London, the firm announced Tuesday.
Champon advises on the formation and raising of alternative investment funds, including secondaries, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, venture capital and debt funds, representing both sponsors and investors. He has significant experience in secondaries transactions, on both the buyer and the seller sides, the firm said.
He most recently worked at Arendt, a law firm in Luxembourg, according to Willkie, and he previously worked as counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, according to his LinkedIn profile.
