Willkie, Davis Polk Lead as Genstar Buys Fintech Company Numerix

Willkie Farr & Gallagher advised Genstar Capital on its acquisition of Numerix, a provider of analytics software for risk management and asset-class pricing for capital market instruments and portfolios.

Davis Polk & Wardwell advised New York-headquartered Numerix, which was founded in 1996 and has 225 clients and 90 partners in 19 offices across more than 26 countries, according to a statement.

Numerix, which says it can price and risk manage any derivative capital markets instrument, “from vanillas to the most exotic products,” counts banks, insurance companies and large hedge funds, plus consulting and advisory firms, as clients.
