Willkie Adds Davis Polk Counsel Weigel as New York M&A Partner

Willkie Farr & Gallagher hired Heather Weigel as a partner in its mergers and acquisitions practice group in New York, the firm announced Monday.

Weigel focuses on advising US and international clients on public and private company M&A transactions, including investments, carve-outs, spinoffs, joint ventures and other general corporate and restructuring matters. She represents private equity firms and their portfolio companies on acquisitions and dispositions of investments, leveraged buyouts and minority investments, the firm said.

Weigel joins from Davis Polk, where she was counsel.
