Wilkinson Stekloff Takes Back Johnson After Two-Year DOJ Stint

Tamarra Matthews Johnson has returned to Wilkinson Stekloff as a partner after almost two years as counselor to US Attorney General Merrick Garland, the firm said Monday.

While serving with the attorney general, she worked on matters involving the Justice Department’s criminal enforcement work, according to Wilkinson Stekloff.

She served as a partner at Wilkinson Stekloff from 2017 to 2021 and previously as an assistant US attorney, said the firm. Johnson will resume her litigation and strategic counseling practice.
