Wilkinson Stekloff Drops Year-End Incentives, Tops Big Law Scale

Nov. 20, 2025, 9:39 PM UTC

DC-founded boutique Wilkinson Stekloff is once again dropping higher-than-market-rate associate bonuses.

The litigation shop is offering its associates bonuses ranging from $22,500 to $172,500, according to a memo viewed by Bloomberg Law. This is on top of the mid-year incentives the firm dropped in April, which ranged up to $60,000.

Wilkinson Stekloff and other elite litigation shops, whose associate rosters are a fraction of those at the largest firms, have blown past the scales set by the industry’s biggest players in recent years.

The bonuses will be paid by Dec. 15, according to the internal memo.
