White & Case, Willkie and Milbank are guiding NRG Energy Inc.'s plans to acquire a bevy of natural gas-fired power plants from LS Power Equity Advisors LLC for $12 billion.

The White & Case team, which guided NRG, was led by M&A partner Thomas Christopher.

Willkie Farr & Gallagher, which steered LS Power alongside Milbank LLP, was led by Adam Turteltaub, a partner in the corporate & financial services department and co-chair of the firm’s mergers & acquisitions practice group.
