White & Case took a former client to court on Thursday, alleging the telecommunications company owes the firm nearly $8 million.
The fee dispute stems from White & Case’s representation of Lycamobile USA Inc. in a lawsuit brought by T-Mobile, Lycamobile’s US partner. The company made “partial payment” on invoices, the firm said, but still owes more than $7 million in unpaid fees and another half-a-million in interest.
The firm filed the new complaint in New York County Supreme Court. White & Case and Lycamobile didn’t immediately respond to comment requests.
